Hello everyone and welcome to yet another STAMPlorations Mini Release Blog Hop. I am pretty excited and have been waiting for this release eagerly. I have a Newest set called the "Little Love - Birthday Wishes" under my stamp line "Dee's Artsy Impressions" I was inspired by my son (who just turned "Two" on the 29th of January) and motivated by Shery to design this set :) Thank you Shery for being the most amazing person I have ever worked with :)
I made a Birthday theme set, cause birthday cards are the most that I need :) Here is a preview of this set. There are a few images to make the focal point of your card, some sentiments and little cluster of confetti and star stamps to make your card more of a celebration :) If you would like a chance to win this set don't forget to leave a comment here and on STAMP blog :)
I went a little over the board in making inspiration cards for this set and ended up creating quite a few :) Here's the inspiration parade.
For my very first card, I inked the panel with Distress inks and stamped some solid circles to create a bokeh effect for the illusion of light from the candles. I stamped, fuzzy cut and colored the image for the focal point of the card. Coloring was done with Prisma Color Pencils. Besides the new set I used Retro Mod shapes for stamping the circles.
For this card, I diecut the coordinating balloon die of Kathryn's Birthday wishes Coordinating die set and stamped the images on each, colored those in Spectrum Noir makers, stamped some confetti on the background and added a background of black patterned paper.
For this card, I stamped fuzzy cut and colored the images using Prisma Color pencils. I masked the base panel with the post it notes to make my inked sun burst background. To finish I added splatter of black ink and stamped the sentiments :)
In this card, instead of creating a birthday card I made a congrats card, using just the gifts. That images was stamped twice by masking and then fuzzy cut along the stamp line to make the image extend all along the base. This was also colored with Prisma Color Pencils. To finish I die cut the Congrats Word Art Die twice and layered it to create some dimension.
This one uses the magic of Distress inks and tone on tone stamping of the tiny stars for the background. Image was stamped colored and fuzzy cut and adhered on the base panel.
For my final card, I used some colored card stock and cut out strips of those to make a panel with diagonal stripes. I stamped, colored and fuzzy cut the image and adhered it along with the Birthday Word die.
I had loads of fun creating these, the possibilities are endless with this set. I hope you enjoyed my creations and liked my newest set. This set is available in store at a 10% Instant Discount, HERE
