STAMPlorations Designer Spotlight - Dee's Artsy Impressions

Hello friends, today at the STAMPlorations blog we are spotlighting two of my newly designed sets for my stamp line Dee's Artsy Impressions. Please leave a comment here and on the STAMP blog for your chance to win.

I am excited as I have one more set designed in my Kathryn series and its "Kathryn's Rainbow" besides this set I have a masculine set "Strongest Dad Ever", though Father was the main idea behind the design of this set but you can always use it for all kinds of masculine set and also for Coffee lovers designs :)

 

So let me show you the cards I made using these sets ...

To make this card, I took a water color card stock die cut a rectangular panel, added some masking tape at the lower edge and water colored it after stamping the cloud and the rainbow.  To get that dark sparkly background, I mixed pearl with black. On the card base I added rainbow stripes from colorful card stock and stuck it on black panel. To add more interest, I added a clothespin and twine :)

For my second card, stamped the image and water colored it. I also cut and added layers of patterned paper for this fun design :)

Now the other set...

This is a pretty simple card, I stamped the image in archival ink and water colored to create my mountains... that was free hand. I then went along the edges of the cup with a grey alcohol marker, it make the ink bleed giving the image some dimension :)

For this one I did some paper piecing and added a twine to indicate that the cup is a gift :) I just love the plaid... who doesn't :D So that makes for a Clean and Simple card

This one is more of a collage look, I did combine some patterned papers and stamps and dies for this design :) Just to showcase that you can do so much with this set :)

Besides the above stamps, I have also use Distressed Damask Background, Trendy Spring Blooms dies, Crazy Double Running stitch rectangle dies :)

Let me show you my fourth Inspiration card for July 2017...

For this one I first did a pink wash on the water color card stock. Once dried, I stamped the flowers and water colored further around those to create depth and dimension. To finish the card I did some splattering and stamped the sentiment. I have used Noteworthy - 2 and The Birds and The Blooms. For coloring I have used Gansai Tambi Water colors

Let me show you my third Inspiration card for July 2017...

To make this card I stamped the floral image multiple times and water colored each flower in a different color. I then water colored for the background, to give the texture you see on the background I added regular table salt white the green pigment was still wet. Once it all dried I brushed off the salt and got this awesome texture. I have used Blooming Buds stamp set and GansaiTambi Watercolors.

Let me show you my second Inspiration card for July 2017...

Yet another water colored card for you :) I stamped the images using distress inks, then water colored and fuzzy cut those. I took a die cut water color card stock and did some wet on wet water coloring on it. To finish the card I stamped the sentiment and adhered the flowers to make a bouquet. I have used Sweet and Sassy Mom, Strong Women and Gansai Tambi Watercolors.

STAMPlorations Inspiration - July 4th 2017

Let me show you my first Inspiration card for  July 2017...

Pretty simple card but I like the pop of green on this one :) I adhered a polka dot patterned paper on card base, over a thin black paper edge on the base. I stamped and watercolored the houses and the tree and adhered it on the card after doing some black splatter. To finish the card I stamped the sentiment. I have used Houses, Houses Extras and Babybump Stamp set for sentiment. Coloring was done with Gansai Tambi Water colors.
