Today, we are showcasing a set by Shery Russ Designs - Noteworthy 2, love love love the fonts and the sentiments of this one :)
Let me show you my card...
For the design, I was inspired by the sentiment itself. So, I stamped the butterflies after masking on a watercolor cardstock. To match the sentiment, I added one butterfly with acetate. This was colored with Gansai Tambi watercolors. Besides the new set I have used Gone Postal
I hope you like my project... head on over to STAMP blog to see more from this set, HERE and dont forget to comment for your chance to win :)
Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment.
How fun to have the butterflies fly off the card, and a great way to emphasize the meaning of the sentiment.
ReplyDeleteLove that butterfly sticking out on his acetate "stick" - saw that on Keren Bakers blog a while ago and thought it is so neat!
ReplyDeleteHi Cornelia, I wish I had seen her card, this idea popped into my mind from the sentiment. If I was inspired by her I would have definitely acknowledged it :) I have done this earlier too in 2014 Here is the link http://deesartutopia.blogspot.com/2014/09/guest-designing-at-top-dog-dies.html :D
DeleteI wish to clarify only because I don't want people to think that I copied the idea and did not mention :D
