I am super excited about this post, for one I will be showcasing my newest Floral series "Blossom Sprays" under my stamp line Dee's Artsy Impressions that were recently launched on STAMPlorations 4th Birthday and two I have loads of inspiration for you. Don't forget to leave a comment here and at the STAMPlorations Blog for your chance to win :)
I have been into flowers from my childhood, so when I was designing these, it was pretty easy, it was as if my pencil for moving on it own :) haha Anyways, let me show you the three sets... Blossom Sprays #1, Blossom Sprays #2 and Blossom Sprays #3
and now the cards I created using these ... I have tried to make as many styles as possible and then there is so much more that you can do with these :)
To make this card, I first stamped the image and created a mask. I then stamped the image multiple times on white panel. I was not to concerned about perfect masking, some things can overlap. I then colored this with my Spectrum Noir markers :) To finish the sentiment was placed on a black panel. Even the background was colored with markers :)
For the second card, I stamped the image twice on a A2 size white panel and fuzzy cut it. I then colored it with markers and adhered it on card base which was lined with corrugated paper :) To keep it simple I adhered a die cut sentiment :)
For my next set of cards, in this one I stamped the image on wood grain patterned paper and colored it with Prisma Color pencils :) I kept it simple by making this image the focal :)
In this card I stamped the image along the edge of the water color panel and water colored it :) I wanted the background to be black. I did a little something extra for the velvet texture of the black background :) Once your water colored background is dry, use a Prisma color pencil to color it and then blend it with Gamsol :) Another one layer card :)
For my final set of cards, I had to do no line water coloring... how can I do a post with so many cards and not include a no line water colored piece hahaha :) so below is that one. Coloring was done using Gansai Tambi Water colors.
That brings an end to this post, I hope you enjoyed all of my creations :) there will be more in future ;) so keep looking.
