ATCAS #28 - SNOWFLAKE

It's Saturday and therefore its time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS and all our dear CAS lovers and winter lovers get set as the code word this week is SNOWFLAKE selected by our amazing and talented Karen. She is also the host for this challenge. It's time for the snow lovers to create some sweet cards that incorporate snowflakes. Also, this is a perfect cue word for holiday cards which you must be in a rush to create.
Our winner will get a wonderful prize from our amazing sponsors StampArt Designs by Kathryne

For my DT card, I wanted to create that snowy elegance that snowflake gives with white and blue colors. Here's what I did...
To make this card, I used a snowflake Paper stencil which I did purchase from a grocery store (Yeah!! I always try to find things in all the stores that can be used in my crafting LOL!!) I put some repositionable glue behind the snowflake and did some masking and inking using light and dark shades of Blue Memento Dew drop dye inks keeping the snowflake off the edges of the card base. I then inked the same snowflake which was used for masking and stuck it on the card base. To add finishing touches I added some white pearls. Hope you like my card :)

Our DT has come up with some amazing projects this week. Pop over to our ATCAS challenge blog here and take a peek. I am looking forward to the challenge this fortnight and am very excited to visit your blogs.

I also want to play this for the following challenges -

1. Keep it Simple #28 - SNOW
2. Inspired by #99

Have fun in creating a some sweet snowy CAS card :) and thank you for visiting my blog.
