We are back with another amazing challenge this week at Addicted to stamps and more... HOLIDAY which opens up a wide range of ideas, from projects for any festive holiday or for some holiday destinations or whatever comes to your mind when you think about holiday... There are numerous possibilities. We also have a new and very talented Guest Designer Cathy of Cathy's Card Spot, joining us this week with a very beautiful card :) What I like about her creations is that they are very beautiful and elegant. Now to my DT card, I went with the Christmas theme for my Holiday card...
To make this card, I was inspired by the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch #64 this week, the beautiful photo inspiration of ornaments at Festive Friday #25 and by the grid challenge choice of (pearls, metal and diecut) at Inkspirational #50 - Designer's Choice. To make this card, I first die cut 3 circles using my sizzix dies, then I heat embossed these with various stamps (Inkadinakdoo mini flourish, Stamping up- Fresh vintage - cling stamp and CAS-ual Friday's Ziga & zags) using Versamark ink and opaque embossing power from Whisper. Then I inked these up with Distress Barn door ink. I also added red glitter on each of these. On my card base, I scored the lines in the center (using Martha Stewart score board) to match up the photo inspiration, hand drew and fuzzy cut that twig. Then I adhered all the elements on the card base, I used pearls to depict the string for the ornaments. Sentiment (from Tidbits JOY-nailing set) was stamped and fuzzy cut and adhered with foam dots on card base.

There is a lot more lovely inspiration from the DT, Please visit our challenge blog here. The winner will receive a wonderful prize from our sponsor this week StampArt Design by Kathryne. Take a peek at their store here
I am excited to see what you will come up with ....
I have another card, this one made for a few challenges :) To make this card, I adhered a yellow stripes pattern paper (from DCWV Basics stack) cut to size on the card base, The cityscape is hand drawn n fuzzy cut and adhered on black card stock using foam dots. The mouse on the hot air balloon (from Penny Black - Hugs set) was stamped, fuzzy cut and colored. Finally, I stamped the stars (from Tid bits Christmas cling set) using Archival ink. Sentiment is from Martha Stewart and finishing touches are added by adding glossy accents.
The challenges are -
1. Retrosketches #102
2. Dynamic Duos #90 - Yellow n Black
3. The Paper Players #183 - Use stars in a CAS creation
4. Just Add Ink #202 - Use Stripes
