Hello friends!! time for another Fusion :) I hope you had fun playing along in our last challenge :) Now let us see how will you interpret our this challenge !! You can go shabby chic, vintage to CAS
FUSION is a very interesting, it gives us a photo and a sketch, so possibilities are endless with the freedom given in the challenge. You can just work with the sketch or just photo but in my case as usual. I Fused the two.
For my card, I did some ink splatter on kraft card base, then did stenciling (using Balzer designs Stencil and Liqutex Modeling paste), the flowers were punched out using a picture punch from vintage paper that icreated by some inking n stamping. Brads on flowers were purchased in my India trip. I adhered all the elements on card base n finished my card with sentiment from Paper Sweeties.
I am submitting this card to the following challenges as well -1. Less is More Week 164 - use 3 of something
2. Moxie Fab World - Styling with stencil
3. Cut it up #41 - Anything Goes!!
There is a lot more inspiration available for you by our lovely team. Go and check out :) Also, for more details about the challenge please visit Fusion Card Challenge
Now to my second card, I very much inspired by Lyndal's card at Muse #60. She is a great crafter and she always inspire me :) I followed the Sketch at Freshly Made sketches #129 and the theme at CASology Week 88 - LUCKY to create my card.
I did some distress inking on the panel (using Mustard seed, Tumbled glass n Chipped sapphire) and some water splashes. Then I die cut the stars using my Momenta star dies. Adhered the hand written sentiment on vellum n all the stars on card base.
Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)

ReplyDeleteStenciling and splattering - two things that I find VERY hard. You have done them perfectly. The touch of stencilling paste and the splatter are a beautiful backdrop to the cheerful bird and flowers.
