CSCC #3

Hello friends! CSCC is back with a new challenge. I am sure we all want to have enough masculine cards in our stock, we are giving you the same opportunity with this month's challenge. The challenge will run for a month, so you will have plenty of time to play along. For more details on the challenge... please click HERE.
Now to our challenge, and my card...

I was inspired by the colors to make my card. I went with the camping theme for two reasons...
I guess guys find camping more fun. As for me I am better off at home away from mosquitoes n crtitters ;) LOL  and secondly, I bought this new stamp set and I had to use it :) To make this card I did some stamping, masking and inking. The tepee was hand drawn n cut.

There is a lot more inspiration from our DT, head over to our challenge blog to see :)

I was inspired by the following challenges -
1. Sunday Stamps #74 for the sketch
2. Sentimental Sundays #204 for a CAS challenge

I can't wait to see what you will create :)
Don't forget to tune into our blog for our very talented May Guest Designer on 10th and for a T time by Tanvi on May 22nd :) Till then have fun creating something Catchy ;)

Supplies used - Stamp Bo bunny Camp-a-lot and Technique Tuesday - Happyville wheelie set; Inks - Distress Vintage photo, Barn door, Chipped sapphire, Antique linen and Memento Tuxedo black

Well, I am not finished yet as I have another card. To make this I used the die cut balloons, dabbed versamark ink at each end and embossed it in gold. inked them and adhered on card base. Balloon strings were hand drawn :)

I was inspired by the following challenges to create this -
1. Cure for the Monday Blues #15
2. Sketch Saturday #307 - I reversed the sketch :)
3. Seize the birthday - Anything Goes!
4. Simon says stamp Wednesday challenge - Anything Goes !

Supplies used - Dies Li'l Inkers Balloon dies; Inks - Hero arts shadow inks - Fresh peach, Bubble gum, Butter bar, Mint Julep, Raspberry red and Versamark Ink. Memento Tuxedo black; Black fine tip Sharpie marker; Matha Stewart All occasions stamp set, Scrappy cat - dots; we are memory keepers washi tape; Ranger super fine Gold embossing powder

  2. The balloon card is so pretty! I've always made a mess when trying this "dabbing on versa mark and embossing" – hard to believe, but I am clumsy for that technique but you rocked it.

  17. As always, your cards are amazing, Deepti! I love the cute little critter on your first card...beautiful coloring and fabulous details! I also love how you create your own elements (like the teepee)...don't know why, but I never think to do that! Your 2nd card is really fun! I love how you added gold embossing to the edges of the balloons (so clever), and how the circles add so much movement to this card!
It's always so much fun to visit your blog...thanks for your inspiration!!!
