It's time for the monthly challenge at STAMPlorations - STAMPS & DIES :) so all you need to do is use a stamp and a die on ur creation which I guess we mostly do, easy! This challenge ends on August 31st, so you will have plenty of time to play along, The winners for this challenge will be announced on September 4th. I would also like to welcome our Guest Designer Karen Dunbrook of Snippets. I am sure you know her already, she creates some of the most fabulous cards with amazing backgrounds. You will love what she created for this challenge. Now let me show you what I created...
So that's my card using Stamps and diecuts. To make this card I was inspired by the colors and the wall decor piece at Cure for the Monday blues challenge #26 photo inspiration and for the sketch by Seize the Sketch #26 - Sketch by Katie. Since, I have used die cuts I will link it up at A Blog Named Hero #49 - Die a little and also added some sparkle by gold embossing, so I am sharing this at Simon Say's Stamp Wednesday challenge - Make it sparkle
To make this card, I masked of the edges with post it notes, then I stamped the feather from STAMPlorations VIGNETTE Trendy feathers, creating a semi circle. Once dried, I heat embossed the edges of these feather using gold embossing powder. Next I inked the base with distress ink, added the die cut birdies, stamped the sentiment and also added a strip of inked kraft card stock again inspired by the brown cushion in photo.
The inspiration from out team will blow u away :) You can check all the details about the challenge and the inspirations by clicking HERE.
Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)
