It's time for the monthly challenge at STAMPlorations - STAMPS & EMBOSSING :) so all you need to do is use a stamp and embossing! The embossing can be heat or dry. This challenge ends on October 31st, so you will have plenty of time to play along, The winners for this challenge will be announced on Novemver 5th. I would also like to welcome our Guest Designer Virginia I am sure you know her already, she creates some of the prettiest cards. Her designs are beautiful and the way she adds color to her deisgns is simply incredible. You will love what she created for this challenge. Now let me show you what I created...
The inspiration from out team will blow u away :) You can check all the details about the challenge and the inspirations by clicking HERE.
Supplies used - Inks: Versamark ink, Distress - Barn door, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard seed and Mowed lawn; Stamps: STAMPlorations Tree Silhouettes; Sequins from Ellen Hutson; Martha Stewart score board.
So that's my card using Stamps and heat embossing plus dry in the form of scoring. To make this card, I scored vertical lines across the card base and then I took a water color panel and stamped the trees from Vignette: Tree Silhouettes in Versamark ink and heat embossed them with Clear embossing powder. Next I added water and introduced Distress inks to create the washed BG. To finish my card I heat embossed the sentiment on black card stock banner and adhered it on the panel. I am sharing this at one of my fave challenge, I was a DT there but unfortunately due to too many assignments, I stepped down. But that will not stop me to play along with them :) CSCC #8 - One card, one stamp set, 613 Avenue Create #91 - Anything Goes!, Simon Says Monday Challenge - Finishing Touch
