Mixed Media Card Challenge #6 - Home

Time for another mixed media delight with fun challenge at The Mixed Media Card Challenge #6. You can also join in the fun!! Read about mixed media definition HERE and u will know what I am talking about.  So let's see what our challenge is and what I created...
Home with an optional element of Lace.... I had my idea in place and incorporating the lace was not a possibility with this idea. I will come up with another reminder card that uses a lace
To make this card, I took a water colored card stock and embossed it with the world map embossing folder from Darice. Next I water colored this with some distress inks (Mowed Lawn, Peacock feathers, Chipped Sapphire and Vintage photo). I then added the cork houses on the map (from freckled Fawn) and some die cut hearts. To finish the look I adhered this panel on kraft card stock, stamped the sentiments in white pigment ink.     You did a great job coloring the embossed cardstock. I tried this technique several times, but was never satisfied with the outcome. So I know what I'm talking about. :) Wonderful card!
