It's time for the monthly challenge at STAMPlorations December challenge - STAMPS & DESIGNER'S CHOICE :) This is really awesome coz u get to choose ur favorite challenge monthly or sketch. This challenge ends on December 31st, so you will have plenty of time to play along, The winners for this challenge will be announced on January 6th 2015. I would also like to welcome our Guest Designer Laura Jane, she creates some of the prettiest and very artistic cards. Her designs are beautiful. You will love what she created for this challenge. Now let me show you what I created...
I decided to pick the April Monthly challenge - Stamps & Your Favorite Technique. So that's my card using Stamps and distress inking, my favorite technique. To make this card I took a panel of white card stock, diecut its lower end with a border die (PPP Stitched border die), which will be replaced by a wood grain patterned paper after inking the panel. The panel was inked in Distress peacock feathers, Stamped with some random Christmas sentiments (from Joyful set) and splattered with some water. Next I heat embossed the candles (from Holiday Sketches - Christmas Candles set) in silver and fuzzy cut it. I lightly colored the candles in blue added some gem stones and adhered it on the panel. Finally I heat embossed the sentiment (from Holiday Sketches - Christmas flower) to finish the card.
I am sharing this card at House of Cards End Term Hop - Photo Inspiration, AAA Card #29 - Blue Christmas, Virginia's view #10 - All things Distressed, Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Christmas/ Holiday
