Guest Designing at Inkspirational !!

Hello friends! Today I am Guest Designing at the Inkspirational Challenges and I am so excited about it :) I have been a player at Inkspirational right from the time I started card making.
They always have some amazing challenge to keep your mojo going :) The challenge today is Designer's Choice challenge "OMBRE" picked by fabulous Pia. I so love this one as creating a gradient is one thing I love to do in my designs :) Let me show you my card...
To make this, I took a panel of white card and inked it with Distress inks creating a gradient. Then I cut this panel into stripes and laid it on my card base. Added some splatter of water and to finish the card I added die cut balloons and stamped the sentiment :)

    I think you've done something amazing with your inks - the shades of colour are gorgeous and I love the effect of the water splatters. What a clever idea to cut it into strips and lay it in an almost random-looking way - it's a great effect. The balloons add to the happy look - it would be so lovely to receive this as a birthday card. THank you so much for joining us as our wonderful Guest Designer at Inkspirational.

    Deepti, this is fantastic! I love you colour choice for the ombré and how you didn't line up you strips straight. The water droplets are great too. So happy you were able to guest design for us at Ink! :-)

    Congrats on the guest spot Deepti! It is wonderful having you design with us at Inkspirational! Your card is stunning, as always! I love how you cut the strips of color and placed them sideways. Also the water drops are such a small addition that make a huge impact. Great overall design!

    Deepti I am amazed by your talent... this card is stunning! Your panel is - fantastic gradient painting! Cutting it into strips just took the whole thing over the top... I will be CASEing this one, Deepti, in some way, somewhere and hope to play along...
