Mixed Media Card Challenge #9 - Hints of Spring

This is my second post for the day, Please click HERE for CASEplorations #2

Time for another mixed media delight with fun challenge at The Mixed Media Card Challenge #9 - Hints of Spring. You can also join in the fun irrespective of your style!! Read about mixed media definition HERE and u will know what I am talking about.  So let's see what our challenge is,
SPRING with an optional element of Birds.... This is what I created.

To make this card, I took a panel of white card stock and stamped the poppies multiple times by masking. Next I fuzzy cut along the poppies. On the card base I added a embossed patterned paper to build my sky. The closeup show the texture.I colored the flowers with markers and laid it on card base with some foam adhesive. I also added the wood veneer birds and sentiment to finish the card. I am sharing this at Happy Little Stampers - March Sketch Challenge, The Paper Players #234 - Spring and Virginia's View #13 - Embossing

There is a lot more incredible inspiration by a versatile and uber talented team :) Please head over to our challenge blog to check out the details of the challenge and some more inspiration.

Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)

Supplies used - Stamps - STAMPlorations Bloom sketches, CAS-ual Friday's In the cards for sentiment; Inks - Memento Tuxedo Black; Patterned Paper - AC Dear Lizzie; Sharpie Markers; Studio Calico Birds-Wood Veneer; Embossing folder - Darice Basketweave
