CASEplorations #7 - Karen Dunbrook

Hi friends! it's time for CASEplorations inspiration post at STAMPlorations. On the first of every month, the STAMPlorations girls share CASEs of some of our favorite cards - maybe even one of yours. Be sure to stop by the blog  for the seventh installment of CASEd inspiration.
CASEplorations will serve as a starting off point for our Inspiration Project Posts. We show you how we CASE a card so you can, in turn, CASE the inspiration cards we share throughout the month. You can find more details HERE.

Our artist for the month of August is none other than the very creative, know for her gorgeous water colored, artsy and creative cards Karen Dunbrook of SnippetsI am a big fan of unique designs, you will fall in love with her beautiful cards. So let me show you her beautiful card (click HERE to see her original post) and my CASE...
It is obvious how I got inspired by Karen's card, here is my card.
To make this card, I water colored the water color paper panel and stamped the text and brick background from STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge in black and blue inks. I also heat embossed the poinsettia in white using STAMPlorations Holiday Sketches :Christmas flower, Water colored and fuzzy cut it and adhered it to the water color panel. To finish the card I stamped the sentiment from the same set. I am sharing this at Crazy 4 Challenge #297 - Include "Happy", Chocolate, Coffee & Cards Challenges #96 - Flower, Mixed Media Monthly challenge #15 - get Texty (thank you Kimberly for suggesting) and Christmas Stamping all Year long #52 - Anything Goes!
Hope you enjoyed it. Check out the amazing CASE creations by Karen and our team, HERE

Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)
