CASEplorations Apr 2016 - Donna Mikasa

It's time for CASEplorations inspiration post at STAMPlorations. On the first of every month, the STAMPlorations girls share CASEs of some of our favorite cards - maybe even one of yours. Our artist for the month of April is the fabulous... Donna Mikasa of Three umbrellas. She needs no introduction, we all love her bright and colorful card style :) So let me show you her beautiful card (click HERE to see her original post) and my CASE...
I got inspired by the colors and layout in Donna's card, here is my card...
I started out by masking and stamping lotus n leaves (using Dee's Artsy Impressions - Lotus love). I then colored it with Prisma Color pencils. To finish the card I hand drew the border and adhered a die cut sentiment gifted to me by a sweet friend. I also added some black sequins.

    That stamp set is gorgeous and the colouring in you've used is beautiful. The black free hand edging really works well along with the black sequins.Clever take on the CASE card.

    This is AMAZING, Deepti, I had to go look at the actual stamp set because I thought this was one stamped image!! Fabulous job with masking and creating a gorgeous bouquet, and so beautifully colored!!
