STAMPlorations April-May Stamps Spotlight Hop 2017

Hello friends and fellow crafters :) we at STAMPlorations are back with a ton of inspiration for all you awesome creative people, using our latest April/ May 2017 Release. As always we have 4 new awesome sets from each of the Stamp lines :) I am excited as I get to share one of my newest set :)

There are prizes to be won as well :) We will draw 2 winners -- 1 commenter will win her choice of stamp set and 1 commenter will win a $15 gift certificate to the store. Winners will be drawn from comments left on the STAMPlorations blog and participating designers blogs.

Let me begin the inspiration parade :) The newest set from Shirley is so awesome. We all needed a perfume based stamp set and she made it :)

Using Parfumerie

To make this card I masked and stamped the images on a watercolor card panel and water colored it loosely to give it a painting like look :) Kept the colors simple. I am loving this set :) Besides, the new set I have used Groovy Shoes and Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting dies.

Next up is the set designed by Becca... oooo those sentiments, I love those and those big bold flowers just gorgeous. Let me show you what I created.

Using Sweet and Sassy Mom

To make this card I stamped, fuzzy cut and colored the flowers with Sharpie Markers and leaves with Spectrum Noir Markers. On the card base I added a patterned paper which inspired me on the colors. I took a white card stock and cut the lower edge using Lacy edges and Borders dies. I adhered it all together and finished the card by stamping the sentiment.

Now the card that I am gonna show is from the Shery Russ Designs... did you know the girl in this set was drawn by Shery's Dad years ago. What a proud moment for Shery to convert it into a stamp. Such a cool and trendy looking girl :)

Using One Cool Chick

To make this card, I took a patterned paper panel and taking cues from it I inked the three die cut flowers. Keeping the girl as the focus I assembled it all together :) Besides the new set I have used Trendy Spring Bloom dies. Here is one more look...

Using Best Mom Ever

I had to do some more water coloring and I always love the look of No Line water coloring. I stamped the image on a watercolor card stock with some light shade of Distress ink multiple times. I the fuzzy cut it. Next I did some water coloring. Adhered a wood grain patterned paper on card base and the added the water colored panel.
