Crafty Meraki - November 14th 2020

Happy Diwali my sweet friends! Today we Hindus celebrate the festival of lights, Diwali. Most important part of Diwali is lighting up our house and I have tried to capture that feel into my card :)

For my Crafty Meraki inspiration post, I made a Diwali card. If you have been following Crafty Meraki over on Instagram, you already know that the month of October was huge for them as they released their own Slimline Dies and Stamps. These are gorgeous, you can check them out HERE. Today I am featuring Crafty Meraki Happy Diwali Stamp set again. 

Let me show you what I made... 

I made a clean and simple card to capture the brightness of Diwali. Simple ink blending, stamping the mandala design followed by adding an embossed and water colored earthen lamp :) Here is a closeup...

STAMPlorations Spotlight - November 12th 2020

 Hello friends! I am back with another spotlight project over at the STAMPlorations blog. I hope I will be able to inspire you. I am always thinking about making simple, quick and easy to mail cards. Christmas is one of those times when I like to have simple and flat one layer cards that can easily be sent :) The Holiday Typografia stamps come in handy for these kind of cards and on top of that I just love these stamps :) I think they are a must have! Let me show you what I made...

STAMPlorations Inspiration - November 10th 2020

Let me show you my second Inspiration project for November 2020...

This card features went with a slim line card, I took a colored card stock, did some partial stenciling in white. Masked and stamped the lemons on a white card stock and fuzzy cut the edges. I then adhered this on the base panel. to finish I added the sentiment. I used Aperture Slimline Stencil, Layered Citrus

Crafty Meraki - November 7th 2020

 Hello friends! I am back with my Crafty Meraki inspiration post. If you have been following Crafty Meraki over on Instagram, you already know that the month of October was huge for them as they released their own Slimline Dies and Stamps. These are gorgeous, you can check them out HERE. Today I am featuring Crafty Meraki Happy Diwali Stamp set. I ended up creating a couple of cards with this set, besides all the other cards I created last month :)

Let me show you what I made... For my first card I did clear embossing on a colored card stock and did some ink blending with a darker shade. This color combo was inspired by a saree that I have :)

I simply love the intricate details of this stamp :)

I couldn't stop just there so I created another card using the firecrackers :)

Here I heat embossed these on a black card stock, colored them with pencil colors and inked around those with Distress inks representing the smoke :) I had fun creating these cards.

This set is incredibly versatile, I will share more ideas later :)

25 Days of Christmas Tags 2020!

Hello friends! I am super excited to be a part of "25 Days of Christmas Tags 2020" an annual event organized by fabulous Tracey McNeely of In my creative opinion. For my tags I have used Warm Hands warm hearts, Festive and Manila Tags Nesting Dies I kept my tags simple by stamping the sentiments completely on one tag background and partially on the other. To add more interest, I stamped and fuzzy cut the stockings image, I even did mirror stamping of the stockings
