ATCAS #50 - Vellum

We are back with a new challenge at Addicted to CAS . This time the host of the challenge is Marie and she has picked a wonderful code word for you... VELLUM. I really enjoyed playing with this code word! Also, I would like to welcome back our super talented and extremely creative Guest Designer Hannelie. Her creative style is unique and involves a lot of pretty die cut creations. Here's my card...
To make this card, I did some masking and inking, then I hand drew the trees and adhered the die cut bats on the card base. I heat embossed the sentiment on vellum to finish my card. I am sharing this card with House of Cards October Challenge - Punches and/or Dies, Simply Create Too #72 - Halloween and Inkspirational #67 - Purple & Grey and 613 Avenue Create #93 - Anything Goes! (optional CAS) :)

    wonderful Deepti, so very dramatic! Great masking and love the torn edges of the vellum-goes perfectly with the Halloween theme and that funky font. And great to see you at Ink-congrats on being in top 3 for our last challenge x

    It's not often that I think of a Halloween card as 'Beautiful', but your card really is beautiful! I love how you blended your inks for the background and your hand drawn trees are amazing! I also love the detail on the bats and how you tore the vellum for this fun sentiment! Awesome card, Deepti!

    Absolutely fabulous. Not a fan of Halloween and I really love that you chose a different colour for your card. Just love everything you did - those trees wow and bats the little splotches huge moon colouring and the vellum - you get the drift. Just wonderful.
