We have a wonderful new challenge for you this week at Addicted to stamps and more... Addicted to CAS. We all know what clean and simple is right? It's all about the design, it's all about the design uncluttered, lots of white or open space and one main focal point and here's my card....
To make this card, I stamped and masked the owl. then I created another mask to ink the moon. Then I stamped the tree branch and some text BG. Added some ink splatter to finish my card. I am linking this at Time Out Challenges #17 - Inspired by words (I used a bird in my card) and Inkspirational #68 - Photo Inspiration.
There is a lot more lovely inspiration from the DT, Please visit our challenge blog here. The winner will receive three digis from our sponsor this week QKR Stampede. Take a peek at their store here
I am excited to see what you will come up with ....
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving me a comment :)
Supplies used - Inks Mememto Tuxedo black, Hero Arts Mid tone - Pool, Adirondack - Willow alcohol ink; Die - Sizzix Circle die; Stamps - Owl love you from Michael's, Recollections Valentine script

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful card. I especially love the subtle script in the background. The scene reminds me of a German children's book by Otfried Preußler, "The Little Ghost". I'm just waiting for that little ghost to appear 'round the corner to have a chat with his friend the old owl.
