Hello friends! I am back with a card :) Last week, I won Catered Crop - Seeing Red challenge and hence got a chance to Guest Design. Yay! So excited. The inspiration photo is simply awesome, who doesn't love bold colors and stripes. Please visit Catered Crop - End zone recipe swap to play along and for more details.
Here's a look into my card...
To make this card, I took a die cut piece and used a stencil to sponge black stripes with Distress Black Soot ink. On the card base, I stamped the cupcakes in Hero arts - Soft granite to create a subtle BG, I also lightly colored them with grey metallic pencil color. I stamped an colored one cup cake with markers and stamped the sentiment (from CAS-ual Friday's Wish big stamp set). Finally, I adhered the pieces on the card base and dressed with some sequins. I am sharing this at Freshly made sketches #159 and Seize the birthday - Anything Goes!
Thank you so much to Linda and Catered Crop team for having me over :) and thank you for visiting my blog and leaving me a comment.
