ATCAS #47 - ORIENTAL

We are back with a new challenge at Addicted to CAS . This time the host of the challenge is Sylvia and she has picked a wonderful code word for you... ORIENTAL. I really enjoyed playing with this code word. Its unique and intrigues ur thought process :). When I did some research on oriental, all I found were some intricate repeated pattern and Japanese oriental art. I was inspired and here's my card...
I wanted to create a orinetal pattern and incorporate some Japanese element into my design. What could be more distinct than a Japanese fan :) First, I stamped the card base to make my oriental BG. Then I added a strip of sentiment with a black washi underneath. Next I cut a strip of blue paper and score it to create a fan. I adhered it all on card base. I am sharing this card with CAS on Sunday #41 Black, white with one color,  Crazy for CAS #52 - Sketch and Simon Says Wednesday challenge - STAMPember Stamp it!
