Hi friends! Its time for a new sketch challenge at STAMPlorations Bi-weekly Sketch Challenge #23. This challenge ends on November 14th and the winners would be announced on November 16th. We have a very talented Guest Designer Ingrid joining us for this challenge. She makes amazing cards and her mixed media cards are simply mind blowing. You can check out more of her creations at her blog Ingrid's Craft Corner
Let's get to the sketch and my card...
Let's get to the sketch and my card...
To make this card, I used Vignette Retro Mod shapes and Trendy feathers. I stamped the rounded square shape in yellow and orange ink to create a subtle gradient. Then I die cut the sentiment through the stamped images and layered it multiple times, adhered it back. I heat embossed the feather on vellum, fuzzy cut it and layers it with some burlap twine and sequins on card base. I am linking this at Time Out Challenge #17 - Inspired by words, The Card Concept #22 - Thank Fall, Cure for the Monday Blues challenge #33 and Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes!
Note: STAMPlorations has started a Bi monthly Stamp Club. This is very interesting club that you might wanna look into. Click HERE!
Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment.
Supplies used - Stamps: STAMPlorations Retro mod shapes, Trendy leaves ; Inks- Hero Arts butter bar and Memento Tangerine and Versamark ink; Dies - PS Hello Tag dies; Sequins from Ellen Hustson; Whisper Opaque white embossing powder
