ARTplorations Stencil Blog Hop!

Yay! Its time for yet another ARTplorations Stencil Blog Hop at STAMPlorations. Not only will there be loads of inspiration for 7 days but alsp prizes to be won. You can see all the details HERE.

Today on the day one STAMP Team is ready to inspire you and so am I :) I made a card using the ARTplorations Broken Glass Stencil. Let me show the card first...
Well as you can see, I did watercoloring. I can't seem to get rid of the idea of watercoloring :) So to make the background, I laid the stencil on watercolor cardstock. Then I watercolored each piece with a brush. Once dried, I added some dot with my gel pen to add some interest. To accent the card further, I added the flowers after, coloring and fuzzy cutting those. To finish the card, I added the diecut sentiment. 
I have used  ARTplorations Broken Glass Stencil, Floral Bliss, On So Grateful Stamp set Grateful Word die and Gansai tambi watercolors.I am quite happy with the results. Let me know your thoughts too and don't forget to hop, HERE

  5. Love the watercoloring in dark charcoal with the bright fuschia color for the flowers. Love the gel pen white spots that added interest and depth. Gorgeously done.

  11. I love water colouring too. Fabulous stencil here and what a great background colour for those gorgeous flowers. Great effect with the dots and the sentiment in 2 colours.
