ATCAS #40 - TRANSPORT

We are back with a new challenge at Addicted to CAS . The code word for this week is TRANSPORT and the challenge is being hosted by our very talented Karen. I would like to welcome a very talented Guest Designer Karen D. with her amazing creation.  Her style is very unique, you will love the way she makes the beautiful backgrounds on her cards. You can see her projects by clicking here, Snippets
Our sponsor for this challenge is StampArt Designs :) Winner will get 5 digis from the store.

For my card, I wanted to show movement and also incorporate a very very adorable monster :) Well, this is the cutest monster and has been created by my friend and ex Team mate at ATCAS Christine Drogt :) Christine has started her own stamp company "Create A Smile". The specialty about her stamps - they are cute, funny and punny. Indeed they will bring a smile when incorporated on ur card :) You can get this Monster and Birdie freebie at their blog.
Check out the blog Create A Smile by clicking HERE
They also have a FaceBook Page, check it out by clicking HERE
I wish Christine all the very best in her new venture :) Hope you like my card, Christine :)
To make this card, I stamped the truck multiple times without re-inking it to indicate movement. The monster freebie was printed and fuzzy cut and colored with pencil colors. I then adhered the monster on the truck, stamped some hearts and hand wrote the sentiment.
I am linking this up to a few challenges -

Our DT has come up with some amazing projects this week. Pop over to our ATCAS challenge blog here and take a peek. I am looking forward to the challenge this fortnight and am very excited to visit your blogs.

Have fun in creating CAS card :)

I also create a second card, inspired by a few challenges. Also, I wanted to incorporate a Subway Art Builders - Dare stamp from Stamplorations Company, I won at CASology. I love this stamp :)
To make this card, I stamped the sentiment stamp on the card base, and also on another piece of card stock. I then punched out these flowers from this piece. Added layers to thicken them up and laid them over the sentiment on card base.  Finally, I added some score lines to mimic the lines on the MUSE card by Vicki and added twine and pearls to finish my card :)
